     Adelaide Margery Dora Bankes was the daughter of Captain Edward Nugent Bankes.1 She married Henry Carmichael Alexander, son of Colonel Walter Lorenzo Alexander and Alice Mabel Tweedie, on 28 April 1935.1 She died on 14 February 1947.1
     From 28 April 1935, her married name became Alexander.1
