     Clara Dalinda Bland was born in May 1823.1 She was the daughter of Francis Christopher Bland and Lucinda Herbert.2,1 She married William Allen, son of William Allen and Mary Salt Law, on 18 August 1842.2
     From 18 August 1842, her married name became Allen.2 1895 Clara Dalinda Bland lived in Natal, South Africa.2

     Francis Christopher Bland was the son of Reverend James Bland and Elizabeth Julian.2 He married Lucinda Herbert, daughter of Arthur Bastable Herbert, on 15 March 1798.2
     Francis Christopher Bland held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).2 He lived at Derriquin Castle, Kilcrohane, County Kerry, Ireland.2
