     Major Derek Wrey Savile was the son of Lt.-Col. Lawrence Wrey Savile.1 He married Benita May Cotter, daughter of George Edmund Sackville Cotter and Beatrice Mary White, on 22 July 1950.1 He died in 1992.1
     Major Derek Wrey Savile gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Artillery.1
