     William Stone Montgomery was born in August 1754.1 He was the son of Sir William Montgomery of Magbiehill, 1st Bt. and Hannah Tomkyns.1 He died on 8 July 1777 at age 22, unmarried.1
     William Stone Montgomery gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 9th Regiment.1
