George Seton, 4th Earl of Winton was born on 4 May 1642.1 He was the son of George Seton, Lord Seton and Lady Henrietta Gordon.1 He married, firstly, Lady Mary Montgomerie, daughter of Hugh Montgomerie, 7th Earl of Eglinton and Lady Mary Leslie, on 4 September 1662.1 He married, secondly, Christian Hepburn, daughter of George Hepburn, before 6 March 1682.1 He died on 6 March 1704 at age 61.1
