     Elizabeth May was the daughter of George May.1 She married Lt.-Col. James Blackwood Archdale, son of Reverend Henry Montgomery Archdale and Sarah Elizabeth Blackwood-Price, on 26 January 1886.1 She died in 1925.1
     From 26 January 1886, her married name became Archdale.1

     Henry Blackwood Archdale was born on 15 March 1887.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. James Blackwood Archdale and Elizabeth May.1 He married Dorothy Audley Mervyn, daughter of William Audley Mervyn, on 19 October 1921, they were without issue.1 He died on 26 August 1939 at age 52.1
     Henry Blackwood Archdale was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 As of 6 May 1936, Henry Blackwood Archdale was considered the head of the Archdale family, succeeding his father.1 He lived at Castle Archdale, County Fermanagh, Ireland.1 He lived at Trillick, County Tyrone, Ireland.1

     Dorothy Audley Mervyn is the daughter of William Audley Mervyn.1 She married Henry Blackwood Archdale, son of Lt.-Col. James Blackwood Archdale and Elizabeth May, on 19 October 1921, they were without issue.1
