     Florence Maud Lyons-Montgomery was the daughter of Hugh Lyons-Montgomery and Elizabeth Smith.1,2 She married Folliott Barton, son of Lt.-Col. Hugh William Barton and Mary Caroline Johnston, on 19 March 1873.1
     From 19 March 1873, her married name became Barton.1

     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Leitrim in 1840.5 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Leitrim.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Leitrim.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for County Leitrim.1 He lived at Belhavel, County Leitrim, IrelandG.1

     He was educated at St. Paul's School, London, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, as a 2nd Lieutenant with the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.1
