     Reverend Samuel Alexander was born on 12 April 1808.1 He was the son of John Alexander and Hannah Richardson Murray.1 He married Charlotte Frances Beresford, daughter of Reverend Charles Cobbe Beresford and Amelia Montgomery, on 4 November 1839.1 He died on 3 June 1889 at age 81.1
     Samuel graduated from Trinity College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1830 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), with his brother Adam.1 Samuel graduated from Trinity College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1834 with a Master of Arts (M.A.), with his brother Adam.1 He lived at Termon, Carrickmore, County Tyrone, Ireland, jure uxoris.1 He was the Curate.1 He was the Rector between 1851 and 1856 at Termonmaguirke, County Tyrone, Ireland.1

     John Barré Beresford was born on 19 October 1815. He was the son of Henry Barré Beresford and Eliza Baily.1 He married, firstly, Sophia Montgomery, daughter of Hugh Lyons Montgomery, on 23 April 1840. He married, secondly, Caroline Hamilton Ash, daughter of William Hamilton Ash and Lady Elizabeth Emma Douglas, on 7 July 1853. He died on 30 August 1895 at age 79.1
     John Barré Beresford held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He lived at Learmont Park, County Derry, Ireland. He lived at Learmount Castle, County Derry, Ireland.1

     Sophia Montgomery was the daughter of Hugh Lyons Montgomery. She married John Barré Beresford, son of Henry Barré Beresford and Eliza Baily, on 23 April 1840. She died on 21 March 1850.
     Her married name became Beresford.

     Caroline Hamilton Ash was born on 30 November 1830.1 She was the daughter of William Hamilton Ash and Lady Elizabeth Emma Douglas.1 She married John Barré Beresford, son of Henry Barré Beresford and Eliza Baily, on 7 July 1853. She died on 13 January 1901 at age 70.1
     From 7 July 1853, her married name became Beresford.1

     Major John Claudius Montgomery Beresford was born on 3 February 1850. He was the son of John Barré Beresford and Sophia Montgomery. He married Rose Sophia Montgomery Smith, daughter of Ralph Smith, on 16 January 1884. He died on 19 September 1894 at age 44.
