     Grace Barton was born on 21 March 1762.1 She was the daughter of William Barton and Grace Massy.1 She married John Palliser in 1784, leaving issue.1 She died on 13 March 1844 at age 81.1
     From 1784, her married name became Palliser.1

     Lt.-Col. Hugh William Barton was born on 13 December 1800.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Charles Barton and Susannah Johnston.1 He married Mary Caroline Johnston, daughter of Robert Johnston, on 9 February 1832.1 He died on 4 December 1870 at age 69.1
     Lt.-Col. Hugh William Barton gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 2nd Life Guards.1 He held the office of High Sheriff in 1837.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He lived at The Waterfoot, Letter, County Fermanagh, Ireland.1
