     George William Cole-Hamilton was born on 12 September 1875.2 He is the son of Reverend Arthur Henry Cole-Hamilton and Harriet Elizabeth Tisdall.2 He married Katherine Edith Clinton-Baker, daughter of William Clinton-Baker, on 25 April 1908.2 He died on 28 May 1946 at age 70.2
     George William Cole-Hamilton graduated from Selwyn College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire.2 He was with the Basutoland Mounted Police.2

     Anne Cole-Hamilton was born on 30 December 1910.2 She was the daughter of George William Cole-Hamilton and Katherine Edith Clinton-Baker.2 She married, firstly, Lieutenant David Edmund Cole-Hamilton, son of Venerable Richard Mervyn Cole-Hamilton and Margaret Bennett, on 2 July 1938.2 She married, secondly, Oswald Graham Noel Turnbull, son of Reginald March Turnbull and Frances Clitheroe Kesterson, on 24 July 1959.2
     Anne Cole-Hamilton was Commandant with the J.W.O., British Red Cross Society during the Second World War.2 She was invested as a Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.).2 From 24 July 1959, her married name became Turnbull.2
