Henry Stevenson Blackwood was born on 4 August 1819.3 He is the son of Hans Blackwood, 3rd Baron Dufferin and Claneboye and Elizabeth Finlay.2 He married Lady Amelia Capell, daughter of Hon. John Thomas Capel and Lady Caroline Paget, on 25 April 1857.1 He died on 25 October 1865 at age 46, without issue.3
     Hon. Henry Stevenson Blackwood gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 17th Lancers.3
