     Minnie Dorothea Spaight Blood-Smyth was born on 11 November 1869.1 She was the daughter of Colonel John Blood-Smyth and Amelia Spaight.1 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Charles Conyers on 2 February 1892, with issue.1 She married, secondly, Captain John Joseph White in 1917 in a childless marriage.1 She died on 25 May 1949 at age 79.1
     Minnie Dorothea Spaight Blood-Smyth usually went by her middle name of Dorothea Spaight.1 From 2 February 1892, her married name became Conyers.1 Minnie Dorothea Spaight Blood-Smyth used the pen-name of Dorothea Conyers.1 She wrote Irish hunting novels, as Dorothea Conyers.1 From 1917, her married name became White.1
