     Brownlow Cecil, 8th Earl of Exeter was the son of John Cecil, 6th Earl of Exeter and Elizabeth Brownlow.1 He married Hannah Sophia Chambers, daughter of Thomas Chambers, on 18 July 1724.1 He died on 3 November 1754.1
     Brownlow Cecil, 8th Earl of Exeter succeeded to the title of 9th Baron of Burghley, co. Northampton [E., 1571] on 9 April 1722.1 He succeeded to the title of 8th Earl of Exeter [E., 1605] on 9 April 1722.1

     Hannah Sophia Chambers was the daughter of Thomas Chambers.1 She married Brownlow Cecil, 8th Earl of Exeter, son of John Cecil, 6th Earl of Exeter and Elizabeth Brownlow, on 18 July 1724.1 She died on 30 April 1765.1
     Her married name became Cecil.

     John Cecil, 7th Earl of Exeter was the son of John Cecil, 6th Earl of Exeter and Elizabeth Brownlow.1 He died on 9 April 1722, unmarried.1
     John Cecil, 7th Earl of Exeter succeeded to the title of 8th Lord of Burghley, co. Northampton [E., 1571] on 24 December 1721.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Earl of Exeter [E., 1605] on 24 December 1721.1

Lady Diana, Countess of Ailesbury

     Lady Diana Grey was born before 1631 at St. Bartholomew the Less, London, England.1 She was the daughter of Henry Grey, 1st Earl of Stamford and Lady Anne Cecil. She married Robert Bruce, 2nd Earl of Elgin, son of Thomas Bruce, 1st Earl of Elgin and Anne Chichester, on 16 February 1645/46 at St. Alphage's, Greenwich, England.1 She died on 8 April 1689.1 She was buried on 12 April 1689 at Maulden, Bedfordshire, England.3 Her will (dated 14 January 1685/6) was probated on 26 February 1689/90.3
     From 16 February 1645/46, her married name became Bruce. As a result of her marriage, Lady Diana Grey was styled as Countess of Elgin on 21 June 1663. As a result of her marriage, Lady Diana Grey was styled as Countess of Ailesbury on 18 March 1664/65.

     Henry Grey, 1st Earl of Stamford was born in 1599. He married Lady Anne Cecil, daughter of William Cecil, 2nd Earl of Exeter and Elizabeth Drury, on 19 July 1620. He died in 1673.
     Henry Grey, 1st Earl of Stamford gained the title of 2nd Baron Grey of Groby, co. Leicester [E., 1603]. He gained the title of 1st Earl of Stamford.

     Sir Robert Chichester was the son of Sir John Chichester and Anne Dennis.2 He married, firstly, Hon. Frances Harington, daughter of John Harington, 1st Baron Harington of Exton.3 He married, secondly, Ursula Hill, daughter of Robert Hill.3 He died on 24 April 1624.3
     Sir Robert Chichester was invested as a Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.).1 He lived at Raleigh, Devon, England.1 He also had a daughter by his second wife.3
