Amy Harriott Gurdon was born on 23 March 1864.1 She was the daughter of Robert Thornhagh Gurdon, 1st Baron Cranworth of Letton and Cranworth and Harriott Ellin Miles.2 She married, firstly, Lionel Charles Drummond on 19 August 1884.1 She married, secondly, Captain Alfred Bayley Ridley on 17 April 1895.1 She married, thirdly, Major Charles Stirling, son of General Sir William Stirling, on 22 August 1905.1 She died on 13 May 1944 at age 80.1
From 19 August 1884, her married name became Drummond.1 From 17 April 1895, her married name became Ridley.1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for West Suffolk.1 From 22 August 1905, her married name became Stirling.1
