     Sir John William Lubbock, 3rd Bt. was born on 26 March 1803.2 He was the son of Sir John William Lubbock, 2nd Bt. and Mary Entwisle.2 He married Harriet Hotham, daughter of Lt.-Col. George Hotham and Caroline Gee, on 29 June 1833.2 He died on 21 June 1865 at age 62.1
     He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Lubbock [U.K., 1806] on 22 October 1840.2 He was a scientific author.2 He held the office of Vice-President of the Royal Society.3 He was a banker.1

Harriet Hotham1

     Harriet Hotham was the daughter of Lt.-Col. George Hotham and Caroline Gee.1 She married Sir John William Lubbock, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John William Lubbock, 2nd Bt. and Mary Entwisle, on 29 June 1833.2 She died on 12 February 1873.1
      Her married name became Lubbock.

Sir Nevile Lubbock1

     Sir Nevile Lubbock was born on 31 March 1839.1 He was the son of Sir John William Lubbock, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Hotham.1 He married, firstly, Harriet Charlotte Wood, daughter of Western Wood and Sara Letitia Morris, on 18 June 1861.1 He married, secondly, Constance Ann Herschel, daughter of Sir John Frederick William Herschel, 1st Bt. and Lady Margaret Brodie Stewart, on 15 September 1881.2 He died on 12 September 1914 at age 75.
     He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.).1 He held the office of President of the West Indian Committee between 1909 and 1914.1

     Harriet Charlotte Wood was the daughter of Western Wood and Sara Letitia Morris.2 She married Sir Nevile Lubbock, son of Sir John William Lubbock, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Hotham, on 18 June 1861.1 She died on 20 November 1878.1
      From 18 June 1861, her married name became Lubbock.3

     Frederick Jan Thesiger, 3rd Viscount Chelmsford was born on 7 March 1931.1 He was the son of Andrew Charles Gerald Thesiger, 2nd Viscount Chelmsford and Gillian Lubbock.2 He married Clare Rendle Rolston, daughter of Dr. George Rendle Rolston and Mary E. Kennedy, on 16 August 1958.1 He died on 15 December 1999 at age 68.1
      Frederick Jan Thesiger, 3rd Viscount Chelmsford usually went by his middle name of Jan.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Inns of Court Regiment.1 He was a Lloyd's insurance broker.1 He was a director of Willis Faber plc.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Viscount Chelmsford, of Chelmsford, co. Essex [U.K., 1921] on 27 September 1970.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baron Chelmsford of Chelmsford, co. Essex [U.K., 1858] on 27 September 1970.1
