     Sir Henry Duffield Craik, 3rd Bt. was born on 2 January 1876. He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Craik, 1st Bt. and Fanny Esther Duffield. He married Emily Henrietta D'Obree Baker-Carr, daughter of Reverend Robert Baker-Carr, on 22 October 1901.
     Sir Henry Duffield Craik, 3rd Bt. gained the title of 3rd Baronet Craik.
