     Major Arthur Rivers Bosanquet was the son of Richard Arthur Bosanquet.1 He married Lady Katherine Ethel Carnegie, daughter of Charles Noel Carnegie, 10th Earl of Southesk and Ethel Mary Elizabeth Bannerman, on 18 June 1917.1 He and Lady Katherine Ethel Carnegie were divorced in 1940.1 He died on 30 September 1971.1
     Major Arthur Rivers Bosanquet gained the rank of Major in the service of the King's Own Royal Lancashire Regiment.1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1
