     Robert George Duff was born in October 1817.1 He was the son of Garden Duff, 8th of Hatton and Louisa Dunbar.1 He married Mary Astley, daughter of William Buckler Astley, on 12 May 1847. He died in March 1890 at age 72.1
     Robert George Duff lived at Ryde, Isle of Wight, England.

He married Lady Agnes Cecil Emmeline Duff, daughter of Sir James Duff, 5th Earl Fife and Lady Agnes Georgiana Elizabeth Hay, on 4 October 1871.1 He and Lady Agnes Cecil Emmeline Duff were divorced in 1876.1 He died on 10 March 1886 at age 36.
