     William Middleton Noel was born on 2 May 1789.1 He was the son of Sir Gerard Noel Noel, 2nd Bt. and Diana Middleton, Baroness Barham.2 He married Anne Yates, daughter of Joseph Yates, on 20 May 1817.1 He died on 20 January 1859 at age 69, without issue.1
     William Middleton Noel held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Rutland between 1838 and 1840.1 He was commanding officer of the Rutland Militia in 1839.1
