     Charles Alfred Edward Winnington was born on 28 June 1882.2 He was the son of Sir Francis Salwey Winnington, 5th Bt. and Jane Spencer-Churchill.2 He married, firstly, Mary Margaret O'Connor, daughter of William O'Connor, in 1915.2 He married, secondly, Charlotte Ida Frederica Noel, daughter of Admiral Sir Gerard Henry Uctred Noel and Charlotte Rachel Frederica Cresswell, on 5 January 1929.1 He died on 19 January 1968 at age 85, without issue.2
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.2

     Her married name became Harrison.1 From 15 March 1924, her married name became Noel.1

Henry Dilkes Byng and Maria Jane Clerke.2 He married, secondly, Ethel Frances Tytler, daughter of Brigadier J. A. Tytler, V.C., on 16 July 1891.3 He married Penelope Margaret Garth, daughter of Captain Thomas Garth, on 25 August 1863.2 He died on 2 July 1896 at age 72.2
