     Charlotte Rachel Frederica Cresswell was the daughter of Francis Joseph Cresswell and Hon. Charlotte Calthorpe. She married Admiral Sir Gerard Henry Uctred Noel, son of Reverend Augustus William Noel and Lucy Elizabeth Tonge, on 11 August 1875. She died on 15 July 1927.
     From 11 August 1875, her married name became Noel.
