     Catherine Kennedy is the daughter of James Kennedy of Blairquhan.1 She married, firstly, William Herries, 3rd Lord Herries of Terregles, son of Andrew Herries, 2nd Lord Herries of Terregles and Nichola Home.1 She married, secondly, John Wallace of Dundonald circa 1545.1
     Her married name became Herries. From circa 1545, her married name became Wallace.1

     John Stewart was born in 1529.2 He was the son of Sir Alexander Stewart, 5th of Garlies and Margaret Dunbar.1 He married Margaret Stewart, daughter of Walter Stewart of Barclye.3 He died on 10 August 1592.1
     He was ancestor of the Stewarts of Physgill and Glasserton, as well as the McTaggart-Stewart Baronets.1 He was Parson at Kirkmahoe, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.3
