     Hon. Charles North was born on 29 December 1840 at Lincolnshire, England.1,2 He was the son of Francis North, 6th Earl of Guilford and Harriet G. Warde.3 He married Amy Louisa Maine, daughter of Reverend John Thomas Maine and Eliza Penelope Ann Cracroft, on 26 April 1865.1 He died on 10 November 1871 at age 30 at Hampshire, England, without issue.1,2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.1

     Reverend John Thomas Maine was born circa 1801 at Scotland.2 He was the son of Thomas Maine.2 He married Eliza Penelope Ann Cracroft on 3 March 1829.2 He died on 25 March 1881.2
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1823 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He was Rector between 1828 and 1850 at Husbands Bosworth, Leicestershire, England.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1836 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Rector between 1839 and 1850 at Harrington, Lincolnshire, England.2 He was Rector between 1840 and 1850 at Brinkhill, Leicestershire, England.2

     From 26 April 1865, her married name became North.

     From 28 August 1862, her married name became Warde.

     He lived at Squerryes Court, Westerham, Kent, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1
