     Sylvester Douglas, 1st and last Baron Glenbervie was born on 24 May 1743.2 He married Lady Catherine Anne North, daughter of Frederick North, 2nd Earl of Guilford and Anne Speke, on 25 September 1789.1 He died on 2 May 1823 at age 79, without surviving male issue.2
     He was invested as a King's Counsel (K.C.) in 1793.2 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1794.2 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1794.2 He held the office of Chief Secretary of Ireland between 1794 and 1795.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for St. Canice [Ireland] between 1794 and 1796.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Fowey between 1795 and 1796.2 He was Commissioner of the Board of Control between 1795 and 1806.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Midhurst between 1796 and 1800.2 He held the office of a Lord of the Treasury between 1797 and 1800.2 He was created 1st Baron Glenbervie, co. Kincardine [Ireland] on 30 November 1800.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Plympton between 1801 and 1802.2 He held the office of Jont Paymaster-General between 1801 and 1803.2 He held the office of Vice-President of the Board of Trade between 1801 and 1804.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Hastings between 1802 and 1806.2 On his death, his title became extinct.2

     He held the office of Bishop of Lichfield in 1771.1 He held the office of Bishop of Worcester in 1774.1 He held the office of Bishop of Winchester in 1781.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).1

     Henrietta Maria Bannister was the daughter of John Bannister.1 She married Rt. Rev. Hon. Brownlow North, son of Francis North, 1st Earl of Guilford and Elizabeth Kaye, on 17 January 1771.1 She died on 16 November 1796.1
      From 17 January 1771, her married name became North.

     Francis North, 6th Earl of Guilford was born on 17 December 1772.2 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Hon. Brownlow North and Henrietta Maria Bannister.2 He married, firstly, Esther Harrison, daughter of Reverend John Harrison, on 20 February 1798.2 He married, secondly, Harriet Warde, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Henry Warde, on 4 May 1826.2 He died on 29 January 1861 at age 88.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was the Master at St. Cross Hospital, Guildford, Surrey, England.2 He was the Rector at St. Mary's Church, Southampton, Hampshire, England.2 He was the Rector at Old Alresford, Hampshire, England.2 He was the Rector at Medstead.2 He succeeded to the title of 8th Baron of Guilford, co. Surrey [E., 1683] on 14 October 1827.1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Earl of Guilford [G.B., 1752] on 14 October 1827.1
