Ernest Brabazon Booth and Marguerita Agnes Currie.3,2 He married Meryl Susanna Guinness, daughter of Richard Smyth Guinness and Esmé Patricia Chapman, on 22 January 1955.1 He and Meryl Susanna Guinness were divorced in 1972.1
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.2 He was commissioned in 1944, in the service of the Royal Artillery.2 He was educated in 1944 at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).2 He fought in the Second World War, in India.2 He was Aide-de-Camp to Field Marshal Sir Claude Auchinleck, Commander-in-Chief of India in 1947.2 He gained the rank of Captain.2 He lived at Darver Castle, Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland.3
