     Lydia Lucy Lyster Smyth was the daughter of Henry Matthew Smyth.2 She married Robert Darley Guinness, son of Richard Seymour Guinness and Elizabeth Jane Susanna Darley, on 30 July 1887.1 She died on 22 November 1947.1
     From 30 July 1887, her married name became Guinness.

     Robert Chapman Guinness was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1957 in the service of the Irish Guards.1 He lived in 2003 at Lodge Park, Straffan, County Kildare, Ireland.1
