     Edward Mainwaring was baptised on 7 April 1635.1 He was the son of Edward Mainwaring and Anne Lomax.1 He married Bridget Trollope, daughter of Sir Thomas Trollope, 1st Bt. and Mary Clitheroe, on 29 July 1679.2 He died in December 1703 at age 68.1
     Edward Mainwaring held the office of Sheriff of Staffordshire.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newcastle-under-Lyme in 1685.1 He lived at Whitmore, Staffordshire, England.2

     Bridget Trollope was the daughter of Sir Thomas Trollope, 1st Bt. and Mary Clitheroe.1,2 She married Edward Mainwaring, son of Edward Mainwaring and Anne Lomax, on 29 July 1679.3 She died on 20 May 1723.1 She was buried on 27 May 1723.3
     From 1679, her married name became Mainwaring.1

     Sir Thomas Trollope, 1st Bt. was born in 1595.3 He was the son of William Trollope and Alice Sharpe.2 He married Hester Street, daughter of Nicholas Street, in 1620.3 He married Mary Clitheroe, daughter of Sir Christopher Clitheroe, on 16 November 1635.3 He died from 20 March 1651/52 to 7 March 1654/55.3
     Sir Thomas Trollope, 1st Bt. held the office of Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1641/42.3 He was created 1st Baronet Trollope, of Casewick, co. Lincoln [England] on 5 February 1641/42.3

     Sir James Hamilton was the son of Sir Thomas Hamilton, 1st Earl of Haddington and Margaret Foulis.1 A contract for the marriage of Sir James Hamilton and Anna Hepburn was signed in September 1623.1 He died circa 1666.1
     Sir James Hamilton fought in the La Rochelle Expedition.1 He lived at Priestfield, Scotland.1
