     Benjamin Dunbar was the son of Sir William Dunbar of Hempriggs, 1st Bt. and Margaret Sinclair.2 He married Janet Sinclair, daughter of John Sinclair of Ulbster.1 He died before 1711, without issue.1

     From before 1541, her married name became Innes.2 From circa 1554, her married name became Dunbar.
