Catherine Falconer Colquhoun was the daughter of Sir James Colquhoun of Luss, 2nd Bt. and Mary Falconer.2 She married Alexander Miller of Earnock on 21 July 1815.1 She died on 22 November 1862.1

Sir James Colquhoun of Luss, 4th Bt. was born in 1804.1 He was the son of Sir James Colquhoun of Luss, 3rd Bt. and Janet Sinclair.2 He married Jane Abercromby, daughter of Sir Robert Abercromby of Birkenbog, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Stephenson Douglas, on 14 June 1843.1 He died on 18 December 1873 at Loch Lomond, Scotland, drowned.1
Sir James Colquhoun of Luss, 4th Bt. succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Colquhoun, of Luss [G.B., 1786] on 3 February 1836.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dunbartonshire between 1837 and 1841.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Dunbartonshire.1
