     Evelyn Mary Alice Houstoun-Boswall is the daughter of Sir George Lauderdale Houstoun-Boswall of Blackadder, 3rd Bt. and Phoebe Allan.2 She married Major Alexander Houstoun on 8 August 1914.1
     From 8 August 1914, her married name became Houstoun.

     William Houstoun-Boswall-Preston was born on 11 April 1849.1 He was the son of Colonel Sir George Augustus Frederick Houstoun-Boswall of Blackadder, 2nd Bt. and Euphemia Boswall.2 He died in 1885, unmarried.1
     He was given the name of William Houstoun-Boswall at birth.1 On 7 April 1863 his name was legally changed to William Houstoun-Boswall-Preston by Royal Licence, under the terms of the will of his great-uncle, Sir Henry Lindsay Preston, Bt.1 He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was a practising barrister.1

     Alice Mary Cunard was the daughter of William Cunard and Laura Charlotte Haliburton.2,3 She married Thomas Alford Houstoun-Boswall-Preston, son of Colonel Sir George Augustus Frederick Houstoun-Boswall of Blackadder, 2nd Bt. and Euphemia Boswall, on 8 May 1883.1 She died on 9 July 1916.1
     From 8 May 1883, her married name became Houstoun-Boswall. From 1886, her married name became Houstoun-Boswall-Preston.1

Sir Gordon Houstoun-Boswall of Blackadder, 6th Bt.1

     Sir Gordon Houstoun-Boswall of Blackadder, 6th Bt. was born on 15 March 1887.2 He was the son of Thomas Alford Houstoun-Boswall-Preston and Alice Mary Cunard.2 He married Daisy Copeland Waller, daughter of Edwin Copeland Waller, on 11 July 1916.2 He died on 28 February 1961 at age 73.2
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, EnglandG.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of Major in the 1st Life Guards.2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Houstoun, of Calderhall [U.K., 1836] on 4 December 1953.1

     Alistair Houstoun-Boswall-Preston was born on 20 December 1888.1 He was the son of Thomas Alford Houstoun-Boswall-Preston and Alice Mary Cunard.2 He died in 1968 at Totnes, Devon, England.3
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He was Assistant Director of Road Transport, Ministry of Food.4 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1920.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.4
