     Rt. Rev. Edward Trollope was born on 15 April 1817.1 He was the son of Sir John Trollope, 6th Bt. and Anne Thorold.2 He married, firstly, Grace Palmer, daughter of Sir John Henry Palmer, 7th Bt., on 30 September 1846.1 He married, secondly, Louisa Helen Harris, daughter of Reverend H. B. S. Harris, on 13 January 1892.1 He died on 11 December 1893 at age 76.1
     Rt. Rev. Edward Trollope was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.1 He was the Rector at Leasingham, Lincolnshire, England.1 He held the office of Archdeacon of Stowe.1 He wrote the book The Family of Trollope, published 1875.1 He held the office of Bishop Suffragen of Nottingham in 1877.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).1
