     Captain George Newdegate Alison was born on 28 November 1889.1 He was the son of Sir Archibald Alison, 3rd Bt. and Georgina Sarah Ann Bond-Cabbell.1 He died on 1 July 1916 at age 26, killed in action.1
     Captain George Newdegate Alison gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Seafoorth Highlanders.1 He fought in the First World War.1
