     General Sir Archibald Alison, 2nd Bt. was born on 21 January 1826.1 He was the son of Sir Archibald Alison, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Glencairn Tytler.1 He married Jane Black on 18 November 1858.1 He died on 5 February 1907 at age 81.1
     He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Alison. He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.2

     Reverend William Henry Beauchamp was born on 16 March 1818.2 He was the son of Admiral Sir William Beauchamp-Proctor, 3rd Bt. and Anne Gregory.1 He married Augusta Arnold, daughter of Dr. T. Arnold, on 31 December 1845.2 He died on 19 March 1853 at age 35.2
     He was given the name of William Henry Beauchamp-Proctor at birth.2 His name was legally changed to William Henry Beauchamp.2 He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was the Rector at Chedgrave, Norfolk, England.2 He was the Rector at Langley, Norfolk, England.2

     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Coldstream Guards.1 He fought in the First World War.1
