     Robert Camperdown Haldane was born on 20 July 1848.1 He was the son of Robert Haldane and Jane Makgill.2 He married Emily Anderson, daughter of James Anderson, in 1876.1 He died on 10 May 1914 at age 65.1
     He was educated at Loretto School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He was recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Office on 8 April 1907.1 He lived at Northroe and Lochend, Shetland Islands, Scotland.1

     Lt.-Col. Maldwyn Makgill Haldane was born on 11 January 1877.1 He was the son of Robert Camperdown Haldane and Emily Anderson.2 He married, firstly, Mabel Constance Seymour, daughter of Robert George Seymour, on 8 November 1902.1 He married, secondly, Katherine Baylay, daughter of Reverend Atwell Mervyn Yates Baylay, in October 1934.1 He died on 29 June 1940 at age 63.1
     He was educated at St. Paul's School, London, England.1 He was educated at Loretto School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He was educated at Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major and Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Scots.1 He was Assistant Director of Special Intelligence Services.1

     Robert Aylmer Haldane was born on 6 April 1907.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Maldwyn Makgill Haldane and Mabel Constance Seymour.2 He married Eugenie Ivanoff, daughter of Peter Gabriel Ivanoff, on 11 July 1942.1 He died on 9 December 1998 at age 91.1
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He was educated at London University, London, England.1 He was Administrative Head of the Nature Conservancy in Scotland between 1949 and 1967.1 He was recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Office on 21 March 1966.1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1967.1 He wrote the book Champions and Challengers.1 He wrote the book The Hidden World.1 He wrote the book The Hidden Word.1 He lived at Northroe, Shetland Islands, Scotland.1
