Maldwyn Makgill Haldane was born on 11 January 1877.1 He was the son of Robert Camperdown Haldane and Emily Anderson.2 He married, firstly, Mabel Constance Seymour, daughter of Robert George Seymour, on 8 November 1902.1 He married, secondly, Katherine Baylay, daughter of Reverend Atwell Mervyn Yates Baylay, in October 1934.1 He died on 29 June 1940 at age 63.1
     He was educated at St. Paul's School, London, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Loretto School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He was educated at Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major and Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Scots.1 He was Assistant Director of Special Intelligence Services.1

     Robert Aylmer Haldane was born on 6 April 1907.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Maldwyn Makgill Haldane and Mabel Constance Seymour.2 He married Eugenie Ivanoff, daughter of Peter Gabriel Ivanoff, on 11 July 1942.1 He died on 9 December 1998 at age 91.1
