     Janet Douglas was the daughter of George Douglas, Master of Angus and Elizabeth Drummond.1 She married, firstly, John Lyon, 6th Lord Glamis, son of John Lyon, 4th Lord Glamis and Elizabeth Gray, before 12 December 1527.1 She married, secondly, Archibald Campbell, son of Archibald Campbell, 2nd Earl of Argyll and Elizabeth Stuart, after 1528.1 She died on 17 July 1537 at Castle Hill, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, burned at the stake for threatening the life of King James V with sorcery.1
     From after 1528, her married name became Campbell.1

     Sir James Douglas, 7th of Drumlanrig was the son of Sir William Douglas, 6th of Drumlanrig and Elizabeth Gordon. He married, secondly, Christian Montgomerie, daughter of John Montgomerie, Master of Eglinton and Elizabeth Edmonstone.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Douglas, daughter of George Douglas, Master of Angus and Elizabeth Drummond, in 1513.1 He and Margaret Douglas were divorced after 1513. He died in 1578.
     Sir James Douglas, 7th of Drumlanrig lived at Drumlanrig, Scotland.1

     Lady Jane Douglas was born on 17 March 1698 at Douglas, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of James Douglas, 2nd Marquess of Douglas and Lady Mary Kerr.1 She married Sir John Stewart of Grandtully, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Stewart of Balcaskie, 1st Bt. and Lady Jean Mackenzie, on 4 August 1746 in a secret marriage.1 She died on 22 November 1753 at age 55 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2
     From 4 August 1746, her married name became Stewart.
