     Sophia Thrale was born on 23 July 1771.² She was the daughter of Henry Thrale and Hester Lynch Salusbury.^3,2 She married Henry Merrik Hoare, son of Sir Richard Hoare, 1st Bt. and Frances Anne Acland, on 13 August 1807.¹ She died on 8 November 1824 at age 53.¹

     Peter Richard Hoare was born on 13 October 1772.¹ He was the son of Sir Richard Hoare, 1st Bt. and Frances Anne Acland.² He married Arabella Penelope Eliza Greene, daughter of James Greene, on 23 September 1799.¹ He died on 10 September 1849 at age 76.¹

     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Southampton between 1868 and 1874.¹ He lived at Luscombe Castle, Dawlish, Devon, England.¹

     Reverend Edmond Strong was the Rector at Clyst St. Mary, Devon, England.¹

     Edith Augusta Strong was the daughter of Reverend Edmond Strong.² She married Peter Merrik Hoare, son of Peter Richard Hoare and Lady Sophia Marsham, on 29 June 1865.¹ She died on 20 October 1880.¹
