Rev. Hon. John Marsham was born on 25 July 1842. He was the son of Charles Marsham, 3rd Earl of Romney and Lady Margaret Harriet Montagu-Scott. He married Penelope Jane Hume on 21 June 1866. He died on 16 September 1926 at age 84.
