     Sophia Hoare was born on 13 September 1814.1 She was the daughter of Peter Richard Hoare and Arabella Penelope Eliza Greene.2 She married Reverend Henry Burney on 25 August 1842.1 She died on 24 September 1872 at age 58.1
     From 25 August 1842, her married name became Burney.

     He was a Fellow at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was Chaplain to King James I.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)1 He was the Rector from 1612 to 1613 at Ledbury, Herefordshire, EnglandG.1

     Dorothy Kyrle is the daughter of Francis Kyrle and Hester Tracy.1,2 She married, firstly, John Abrahall.1 She married, secondly, Sir Bennet Hoskyns, 1st Bt., son of John Hoskyns and Benedicta Moyle, in 1655.1 She died on 10 February 1679/80.2
     Her married name became Abrahall.1 From 1655, her married name became Hoskyns.1

Sir John Esplen, 1st Bt.1

     Sir John Esplen, 1st Bt. was born on 7 April 1863.2 He was the son of William Esplen.2 He married Laura Louise Dickenson, daughter of John Dickenson, on 26 January 1898.2 He died on 7 February 1930 at age 66.2
     He was senior director of Esplen, Sons & Swainstone, consulting engineers and naval architects.2 He was chief technical advisor to the Minister of Shipping during the First World War.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1918.2 He gained the title of 1st Baronet Esplen, of Hardres Court, Canterbury, Kent [U.K.] on 14 July 1921.2

     Laura Ray Esplen was the daughter of Sir John Esplen, 1st Bt. and Laura Louise Dickenson.2 She married Sir Peter William Hoare, 7th Bt., son of Peter Arthur Marsham Hoare and Norah Alicia Beresford Falls, on 10 July 1929.1 She died in 1992.1
     From 10 July 1929, her married name became Hoare.

     Sir David John Hoare, 9th Bt. was born on 8 October 1935.1 He is the son of Sir Peter William Hoare, 7th Bt. and Laura Ray Esplen.2 He married, firstly, Mary Vanessa Cardew, daughter of Peter Gordon Cardew, on 20 April 1965.1 He and Mary Vanessa Cardew were divorced in 1978.1 He married, secondly, Virginia Victoria Labes Menzies, daughter of Michael Menzies, in 1984.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was a banker and farmer.1 He was deputy chairman of C. Hoare and Company.1 He lived in 2003 at Luscombe Castle, Dawlish, Devon, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Hoare, of Barn Elms, co. Surrey [G.B., 1786] on 26 June 2004.
