     Laura Ray Esplen was the daughter of Sir John Esplen, 1st Bt. and Laura Louise Dickenson.² She married Sir Peter William Hoare, 7th Bt., son of Peter Arthur Marsham Hoare and Norah Alicia Beresford Falls, on 10 July 1929.¹ She died in 1992.¹
     From 10 July 1929, her married name became Hoare.

     Katrin Alexa Bernsteil is the daughter of Erwin Bernsteil.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Michael Robin Adderley Hodson, 6th Bt.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Peter Richard David Hoare, 8th Bt., son of Sir Peter William Hoare, 7th Bt. and Laura Ray Esplen, in 1978.¹
     Her married name became Hodson.¹ From 1978, her married name became Hoare.¹

     David John Hoare was born on 8 October 1935.¹ He is the son of Sir Peter William Hoare, 7th Bt. and Laura Ray Esplen.² He married, firstly, Mary Vanessa Cardew, daughter of Peter Gordon Cardew, on 20 April 1965.¹ He and Mary Vanessa Cardew were divorced in 1978.¹ He married, secondly, Virginia Victoria Labes Menzies, daughter of Michael Menzies, in 1984.¹
     David John Hoare was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.¹ He was a banker and farmer.¹ He was deputy chairman of C. Hoare and Company.¹ He lived in 2003 at Luscombe Castle, Dawlish, Devon, England.¹
