     Katherine Aske was born circa 1457 at Aughton, Yorkshire, England.2 She was the daughter of Sir John Aske and Elizabeth Bygod.1,2 She married Sir John Hastings, son of Sir Hugh Hastings and Anne Gascoigne, in 1496.1,2 She died in February 1506.2 She was buried at Aughton Church, Aughton, Yorkshire, England.2
     From 1496, her married name became Hastings.1
