     Harriet Carter was the daughter of Thomas Carter.2 She married Sir Henry Clinton, son of Admiral George Clinton and Anne Carle, in February 1767.1 She died on 29 August 1772.1
     From February 1767, her married name became (?) Clinton.

     Colonel Henry Clinton was born on 24 February 1802.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir William Henry Clinton and Hon. Louisa Dorothea Holroyd.2 He married Priscilla Loder, daughter of James Loder, on 17 August 1863.1 He died on 13 March 1881 at age 79.1
     Colonel Henry Clinton lived at Earlsbury Park, Royston, Hertfordshire.1
