     Sir William Miller of Glenlee, 3rd Bt. was born on 12 September 1815.3 He is the son of Thomas Miller and Edwina Cumming.2 He married Emily McMahon, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Thomas McMahon, 2nd Bt. and Emily Anne Westropp, on 27 April 1839.1 He died on 30 October 1861 at age 46.3
     Sir William Miller of Glenlee, 3rd Bt. gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 12th Lancers.3 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Miller, of Glenlee, Kirkcudbrightshire [G.B., 1788] on 9 May 1846.3 He also had two daughters, who both died unmarried.3
