     Edwina Cumming was the daughter of Sir Alexander Penrose Gordon Cumming of Altyre, 1st Bt.2 She married Thomas Miller, son of Sir William Miller of Glenlee, 2nd Bt. and Grizel Chalmers, in 1814.1 She died on 18 March 1857.1
     From 1814, her married name became Miller.1

     Major Alexander Penrose Miller was born in 1817.1 He was the son of Thomas Miller and Edwina Cumming.2 He married Julia Monica Shiel, daughter of S. Shiel.1 He died on 18 September 1880.1
     Major Alexander Penrose Miller gained the rank of Major in the service of the 92nd Gordon Highlanders.1
