     Sir Thomas Miller of Glenlee, 1st Bt. was born on 3 November 1717.1 He was the son of William Miller of Glenlee and Janet Hamilton.2 He married, secondly, Anne Lockhart, daughter of John Lockhart.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Murdoch, daughter of John Murdoch, on 16 April 1753.1 He died on 27 September 1789 at age 71.1
     Sir Thomas Miller of Glenlee, 1st Bt. held the office of Lord President of the Court of Session.1 He was created 1st Baronet Miller, of Glenlee, Kirkcudbrightshire [Great Britain] on 3 March 1788.1
