Lt.-Col. Sir Lynton Stuart White was born on 11 August 1916.3 He is the son of Sir Rudolph Dymoke White, 2nd Bt. and Isabelle Stuart MacGowan.2 He married Phyllis Marie Rochfort Worley, daughter of Sir Newnham Arthur Worley, on 17 January 1945.3
