     Henry Ripley was born on 12 May 1849.3 He was the son of Sir Henry William Ripley, 1st Bt. and Susan Milligan.2 He married, firstly, Emma Alice Seton, daughter of Colonel Bruce Seton, on 18 July 1876.3 He married, secondly, Dorothea Royds Grey, daughter of Henry Anthony Grey, on 6 October 1885.1 He died on 20 April 1926 at age 76.1
     Henry Ripley held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.3

     Hugh Ripley was born on 4 March 1851.1 He was the son of Sir Henry William Ripley, 1st Bt. and Susan Milligan.2 He married Alice Louisa Pease, daughter of James Robinson Pease and Louisa Frances Barkworth, on 1 December 1881.1 He died on 9 April 1913 at age 62.1
