     Michael Williams was born on 3 June 1784.1 He was the son of John Williams and Catherine Harvey.2 He married Elizabeth Eales, daughter of Richard Eales, on 5 March 1813.1 He died on 15 June 1858 at age 74.1
     Michael Williams held the office of High Sheriff of Glamorgan in 1840.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cornwall.1 He was Deputy-Warden of the Stannaries.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for West Cornwall between 1853 and 1858.1 He lived at Scorrier House, Cornwall, England.1 He lived at Gnaton Hall, Devon, England.1 He lived at Caerhays Castle, Cornwall, England.1
