     Sir Henry William Gore-Booth, 5th Bt. was born on 1 July 1843.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Gore-Booth, 4th Bt. and Caroline Susan Goold.1 He married Georgina Mary Hill, daughter of Colonel Charles John Hill and Lady Frances Charlotte Arabella Lumley, on 29 April 1867.1 He died on 13 January 1900 at age 56.1
     Sir Henry William Gore-Booth, 5th Bt. was an Arctic explorer and author.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Sligo in 1872.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Gore, of Lissadell, co. Sligo [I., 1760] on 21 December 1876.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Sligo.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Sligo.1
