     Sir William John Crossley, 1st Bt. was born on 22 April 1844.¹ He was the son of Francis Crossley and Elizabeth Helen Irwin.² He married Mabel Gordon Anderson, daughter of Francis Anderson, on 20 April 1876.¹ He died on 12 October 1911 at age 67.¹
     He was director of Manchester Ship Canal.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire.¹ He was chairman of Crossley Brothers at Manchester, Lancashire, England.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Manchester.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Altrincham between 1906 and 1910.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Crossley, of Glenfield, Dunham Massey, co. Chester [U.K.] on 26 November 1909.¹

     Peter Clarke was born on 14 August 1945.¹ He is the son of John Campbell Clarke and Hon. Eleanor Geraldine de Courcy.²

     Hon. Diana Ruth de Courcy was born on 17 August 1951.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Michael William Robert de Courcy, 27th Lord Kingsale and Ruth Holmes.²

     Gerald de Prendergast is the son of Maurice de Prendergast.¹
      In 1205 He was ancestor of the the Prendergasts of County Mayo.¹

     D. W. Jones lived at Ballasalla, Isle of Man.¹

     Gerald de Prendergast was the son of Philip de Prendergast and Maude de Quincy.¹ He married, firstly, Matilda Butler, daughter of Theobald Butler.¹ He married, secondly, Matilda de Burgh, daughter of Richard de Burgh, Lord of Connaught and Hodiernna de Gernon.¹ He died in 1251.¹
     He was founder of Enniscorthy Abbey.¹

     Matilda Butler is the daughter of Theobald Butler.¹ She married Gerald de Prendergast, son of Philip de Prendergast and Maude de Quincy.¹
      Her married name became de Prendergast.¹

     Maurice de Prendergast died in 1205.¹
     He gained the title of Lord of Prendergast [feudal baron].¹ In 1169 he was one of the Cambro-Norman knights who went with Strongbow, Earl of Pembroke, to Ireland.¹ In 1177 he gave Prendergast Castle in Wales to the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem, and eventually joined that order.¹ He was Prior of Kilmainham.¹

     Philip de Prendergast was born before 1185.¹ He was the son of Maurice de Prendergast.² He married Maude de Quincy, daughter of Robert de Quincy.¹ He died in 1226.¹
     He held the office of Constable of Leinster, which he acquired through his wife.¹ He acquired the town of Enniscorthy, County Wexford through his wife.¹
