George Dunbar Dunbar was born with the name of George Dunbar Orr.1 He was a practising Barrister-at-law.1 His name was legally changed to George Dunbar Dunbar when he assumed the surname and arms of Dunbar in lieu of his patronymic, when he inherited the estates of his uncle John Gilmore Dunbar.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Belfast between 1835 and 1841.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He lived at Woburn House, Millisle, County Down, Ireland.1

Maj.-Gen. Sir Denis Pack was born on 7 October 1775.2 He was the son of Very Rev. Thomas Pack and Catherine Sullivan.2 He married Lady Elizabeth Louisa Beresford, daughter of George de la Poer Beresford, 1st Marquess of Waterford and Elizabeth Monck, on 10 July 1816.3 He died on 24 July 1823 at age 47.
