Sir John William Hamilton Anson, 2nd Bt. was born on 26 December 1816.1 He was the son of Sir William Anson, 1st Bt. and Louisa Frances Mary Dickenson.1 He married Elizabeth Catherine Pack, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Denis Pack and Lady Elizabeth Louisa Beresford, on 27 July 1842.1 He died on 2 August 1873 at age 56 at Wigan, Lancashire, England, killed in a railway accident.1
